Membership
Membership of the River Heads Progress Assn Inc is open to all residents and visitors.
Join our vibrant association and take an active part in the River Heads community by:
- Standing for a committee position at the next Annual General Meeting
- Joining any Sub-committee of your choice
- Becoming a volunteer at the Friday night bistro and bar to help in the kitchen or the bar. You must have current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate to work in the bar. The RHPA may at times require extra volunteers to work in the Bar and therefore you should approach the bar manager who will arrange and pay for volunteer’s RSA certification).
- Help us setup and deliver community events throughout the year
Members can enjoy many benefits such:
- Member discounted prices on meals at Rivers bistro on Friday nights
- Members draw Friday nights (this jackpots each Friday night if not won by a current and present member).
- Discounted community hall hire, including discounted party equipment hire
- Discounted entry to RHPA special events.
- Membership is open to residents, visitors, and anyone over 18 years of age
- A fee of $30 per annum and is due on 01 July each year.
If you sign-up between Christmas and July then membership is just $20
How to Apply for Membership
Choose either of the three options below
- Locate the Application Form from this website and complete the on-line membership application form. The form will be sent to the committee for processing.
- You could download and complete the form then hand it directly to the volunteer at the front desk during Friday evening bistro
- Scan and email the completed membership application to secretary@riverheads.org.au
- The RHPA value your privacy and abide by the Privacy Act regarding holding personal information.

You will be handed a receipt for payment, and a membership card with your member number when you next visit the hall on a Friday night bistro. - Drop the form with payment by cash or EFTPOS at the Hall on a Friday night bistro.

Please ensure your details are complete on the Application Form so they can be added to the membership register. Please confirm your email address verbally to the volunteer at the desk to ensure you will receive information through the year.
Annual membership is valid from 01 July to 30 June each year.
New Member Applications can be received at any time throughout the year, however all new members will be sent a Membership Renewal Application at the start of June each year regardless of when they joined.
River Heads Progress Association members approve the key dates and timelines for the annual AGM and these will be advertised on the RHPA website, and will be emailed to all current Members.
Membership payment needs to be made no later than two weeks prior to the next AGM in order that members are deemed financial and can vote or hold a proxy at the AGM.
